abstract | [PROBLEMS] To provide an ink jet recording material having high gloss and excellent ink absorption. A primary dispersion step of dispersing inorganic fine particles and water with a two- or more-axis disperser having at least one stirring blade on each axis to obtain a coarse dispersion, and a coarse dispersion obtained in the primary dispersion step. It is a method for producing an ink jet recording material in which a coating composition containing the inorganic fine particle dispersion obtained by at least two steps of the secondary dispersion step of finely dispersing the dispersion and adjusting the particle size distribution is applied to a support, and is preferably used. Uses an inorganic fine particle dispersion containing a dispersing aid in the primary dispersion step. |
