(57) [Problem] To provide a digital color printer having a complete proof printing function. A digital proof press having a proof print head including a colorimetric analyzer and a print head, and having a function of automatically performing both a calibration adjustment and a color management adjustment. The color light analyzer scans a test image printed by a proof press in advance to acquire measurement data of various color fragments. This is compared with the color code value of the characterization test image to adjust the ink ejected from the print head, and the color management is adjusted according to the device profile that predicts how the output device will convert the code value. |
