(57) [Problem] To provide a nitrogen oxide treatment method and apparatus capable of efficiently decomposing and removing nitrogen oxide without using a substance having a high environmental load such as ammonia. SOLUTION: Nitrogen oxide is decomposed under atmospheric pressure by using a high temperature thermal plasma of 2000K or more generated by arc discharge, high frequency discharge, microwave discharge or the like. |
