titleOfInvention | Silver halide photographic material |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Problem] To provide a high-contrast silver halide photographic material having low fog, high sensitivity, little fog increase during long-term storage, and a small change in sensitivity over time during exposure. I do. A silver halide photographic material wherein at least one of the silver halide emulsion layers contains at least one compound represented by the following general formula (1). General formula (1) {L 1 -Au (I)-(L 2 ) m } X n In the formula (1), L 1 and L 2 each contain a selenoether group or a telluroether group; It represents a compound which is coordinated to a valence gold Au (I) atom through the selenium atom of the selenoether group or the tellurium atom of the telluroether group, or a halogen atom. Where L 1 and L 2 may be the same or different, and may be linked. X represents a counter salt required to neutralize the charge of the compound. m represents 0 or 1, and n represents a value of 0 to 1, but n may be a decimal number. |
