abstract | (57) [Summary] [Object] To provide four novel tetrapeptides having an immunostimulatory activity from a protease-decomposed solution of seaweed. [Constitution] Wakame seaweed is treated with proteolytic enzyme or the like, and four novel tetrapeptides having a novel immunostimulatory activity are (1) Tyr-Asn-Lys-Leu (2) Tyr- Lys-Tyr-Tyr (3) Lys-Phe-Tyr -Gly and (4) Ala-Ile-Tyr-Lys, which have an immunostimulatory effect in vivo and have extremely low toxicity. |
