titleOfInvention | UV discharge tube |
abstract | (57) [Summary] (with correction) [PROBLEMS] To provide an ultraviolet discharge tube which is improved in luminous efficiency of a phosphor, has a long life, is high quality, and is suitable for a thin tube. SOLUTION: A phosphor dispersion liquid obtained by dispersing a phosphor emitting ultraviolet light having a wavelength of 400 nm or less for activating a photocatalyst with an inorganic binder is applied to the outer peripheral surface of an ultraviolet discharge tube made of ultraviolet transmitting glass, and this is applied. It is fired to form a phosphor layer, and the ultraviolet rays emitted from the ultraviolet discharge tube excite the phosphor to emit ultraviolet rays. |
