abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a driving method in which a display panel such as a liquid crystal used for a portable type does not generate flicker even at a low frame rate. SOLUTION: MLS4 is constituted by four fields, and in 1/7 gradation of 7FRC, gradation display in which one ON is performed in seven frames is realized. 4 fields x 7 The data of frame = 28 is set as serial data, and the data is sequentially output in the direction of the arrow along the four fields from the segment signal line. When 28 data are applied to the pixel, 1/7 gradation is realized.
