(57) [Summary] [Objective] In the production of ethylene low polymer using a Ziegler catalyst and recycling a reaction solvent, Provided is a method capable of obtaining a higher-purity ethylene low polymer containing no impurities. [Constitution] Ethylene polymerization reaction is carried out in an organic solvent in the presence of a Ziegler-based catalyst, and the obtained organic reaction product is distilled, and the separated organic solvent is circulated and used for the polymerization reaction. A method for producing an ethylene low polymer, wherein the concentration of an olefin having 3 or more carbon atoms contained in an organic solvent circulated and used in the polymerization reaction system is 2% by weight or less. |
