titleOfInvention | Method for producing recombinant protein |
abstract | (57) [Problem] To provide a method for efficiently producing a recombinant protein from which an N-terminal methionine has been removed. SOLUTION: In culturing a host transformed with an expression vector for expressing a recombinant protein, the concentration of dissolved oxygen in the culture solution is controlled to about 1 ppm or less. [Effect] By controlling the concentration of dissolved oxygen in the culture solution to be low, the expression ratio of the recombinant protein to which the N-terminal methionine is not added is increased as compared with the case where such control is not performed. |
