titleOfInvention Biodegradable seedling root cover and method for producing the same
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biodegradable seedling having excellent mechanical strength and having a controlled decomposition performance such that it is hardly decomposed during a seedling raising period and is almost completely decomposed after transplantation. Provide root cover. SOLUTION: It is formed of a nonwoven fabric made of a biodegradable thermoplastic aliphatic polyester. The nonwoven fabric, At least two layers of a long-fiber web having a single-fiber fineness of 5 to 15 dtex and a fine-fiber long-fiber web having a single-fiber fineness of 1 to 5 dtex and a fineness different from that of the long-fiber long fiber web are laminated. It is assumed that the thick fine fiber long fiber web and the fine fine fiber long fiber web are integrated by partial thermocompression bonding or three-dimensional confounding treatment.
