abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stripping method in which the viscosity of a siloxane polymer before and after stripping off residual volatile siloxane oligomers is substantially the same. SOLUTION: The emulsion is continuously supplied to the continuous flow device for liquid evaporation, the stripping gas is continuously supplied to the continuous flow device, and the top fraction of the volatile siloxane oligomer is continuously supplied from the continuous flow device. Separation and continuous separation of the non-evaporating tower bottoms substantially free of volatile siloxane oligomer residues used in the production of the emulsion from the continuous flow of the siloxane polymer-containing emulsion. |
