abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a method for producing 4-aminodiphenylamine, which can obtain 4-aminodiphenylamine in a high yield with a small amount of catalyst. SOLUTION: An aqueous solution of 4-nitrosodiphenylamine alkali metal salt or 4-nitrosodiphenylamine. A method for producing 4-aminodiphenylamine by hydrogenating an aqueous solution of a tetraalkylammonium salt in the presence of a hydrogenation catalyst, wherein the 4-nitrosodiphenylamine. An aqueous alkali metal salt solution or an aqueous solution of 4-nitrosodiphenylamine / tetraalkylammonium salt is continuously supplied and hydrogenated.
