abstract | (57) [Problem] To provide a lithographic printing plate support that can be used as a support for a lithographic printing plate that does not cause severe ink stains or blank stains even from recycled aluminum base metal. SOLUTION: The roughening step comprises: (1) a preliminary electrolytic surface roughening step of electrolytically roughening the aluminum plate in an aqueous hydrochloric acid solution; and (2) an electrolytic surface roughening step in the preliminary electrolytic surface roughening step. (3) contacting the etched aluminum plate with a sulfuric acid aqueous solution having a specific sulfuric acid and aluminum ion concentration and a liquid temperature for 1 to 180 seconds; A method for producing a lithographic printing plate support, comprising: a sulfuric acid desmutting treatment step, and (4) an electrolytic surface roughening treatment step of subjecting the desmutted aluminum plate to electrolytic surface roughening in an aqueous solution of nitric acid with an alternating current. Support, PS plate obtained by the production method. |
