titleOfInvention | Melatonin analysis method and melatonin analyzer |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Problem] The endogenous melatonin content in mammals is extremely small, and the sensitivity of conventional analytical methods is low. Met. It is an object of the present invention to provide a highly sensitive melatonin analysis means capable of analyzing and measuring the amount of melatonin with as little blood sampling as possible, and to provide an indole oxide derivative having strong fluorescence. SOLUTION: The melatonin analyzing means according to the present invention comprises: an oxidizing means for oxidizing melatonin represented by the general formula (II) to obtain a carbonyl-type structure melatonin oxide represented by the general formula (I); And measuring means for measuring the fluorescence intensity of the melatonin oxide obtained in the above to obtain the amount of melatonin. The indole oxide derivative represented by the general formula (I) can be obtained by oxidizing the indole derivative represented by the general formula (II) with an oxidizing agent. |
