titleOfInvention | Phenol-hydroxybenzyl alcohol-based pH discoloring polycondensate and its preparation |
abstract | (57) [Summary] (with correction) [PROBLEMS] To provide a pH-discoloring resin which changes color from weakly acidic to weakly alkaline. A phenol and a condensing agent, hydroxybenzyl alcohol, are subjected to dehydration polycondensation in the presence of an acidic catalyst, in the absence of a solvent or in an organic solvent, with heating and stirring under an inert gas flow, reduced pressure if necessary, and reduced pressure if necessary. A resin having the following structure is obtained. (Wherein, R1 is a methylene bond, a methyl group, a hydroxyl group, an aldode group, or a methylene bond, and the bonding position is ortho, meta, or para to the hydroxyl group of the benzene ring. R2 and R3 are hydrogen atoms Or a methylene bond, and the bonding position is ortho or para to the hydroxyl group of the benzene ring.) |
