titleOfInvention | PHENYLENE POLYMER AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME |
abstract | (57) [Problem] To provide a novel phenylene polymer. SOLUTION: A cyclic conjugated diene-based polymer having a molecular structural unit derived from one or two or more kinds of monomers selected from cyclic conjugated diene-based monomers having a polar group is obtained. As the basic skeleton of the molecular structural unit of this polymer, Preferably, it has a 5- to 8-membered cycloalkene ring. The polymerization reaction of the cyclic conjugated diene-based monomer is preferably performed using a Ni-based catalyst or the like, in a nonpolar solvent containing a basic compound, or in an aromatic halogen solvent. Polymerization using a Ni-based catalyst gives a highly crystalline polymer, and elimination of its substituents gives a paraphenylene polymer. |
