(57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To achieve high sensitivity and high gamma of small tabular grains having a relatively high aspect ratio and, when used in a color reversal photosensitive material, to improve graininess and interimage effect. To provide excellent silver halide photographic emulsions. SOLUTION: The coefficient of variation of the equivalent circle diameter of all grains is 40% or less, and 50% or more of the total projected area is occupied by tabular grains satisfying the following (i) to (v). Silver halide photographic emulsion.
