(57) [Problem] To provide a method for producing a thermostable thermoplastic polyurethane. The method comprises the steps of: (A) as a reactant, (i) The hydroxyl-terminated polyol, (ii) the organic diisocyanate, and (iii) the chain extender are combined with a ratio of NCO to OH of all reactants, including the acid H compound, of 0.9: 1 to 1.2: 1. And B) a chain extender, wherein the reaction mixture comprises an amount of diisocyanate such that the maximum melt viscosity of the reaction product prepared from (i), (ii) and (iii) is obtained. Adding at least one acid H compound to the reaction mixture in an amount of 0.3 to 6 mol%, based on the amount of |
