Method for purifying L-arabinose |
abstract |
(57) [Problem] To provide a method for obtaining high-purity L-arabinose from a saccharide mixture by a simple operation and at a low cost. SOLUTION: A microorganism having no ability to assimilate L-arabinose is allowed to act on an L-arabinose-containing saccharide mixture in which at least one kind of L-arabinose and a monosaccharide other than L-arabinose are mixed to convert monosaccharides other than L-arabinose. A method for purifying L-arabinose, comprising increasing the content of L-arabinose by assimilating one or more kinds. |
