abstract (57) [Summary] [Problem] A highly durable carrier capable of obtaining a stable high-quality image free of spent over a long period of time even after repeated copying, resulting in no fog and toner scattering, and production thereof. A method, a developer and an image forming method can be provided. SOLUTION: In a carrier in which magnetic particles are coated with a silicone resin containing at least an aminosilane coupling agent, the magnetic particles are coated with a silicone resin and subjected to primary baking, and further coated with a silicone resin and subjected to secondary baking. A carrier for electrophotography, wherein the product of the baking temperature and the time given to the carrier in the primary and secondary baking steps has the following relationship.
