titleOfInvention | Gel fly attractants and method for producing the same |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gel-like fly attractant which is easy to handle, has a slow evaporation of an active ingredient, has a long pot life, and is safe even if eaten by mistake, and a fly using the same. Providing tools. SOLUTION: A saccharide such as sugar and a gelling agent such as konjac powder are mixed and stirred in powder form to disperse the gelling agent with the saccharide and then to a temperature at which the gelling agent can be melted. After adding heated water and stirring to melt the gelling agent, the fly attractant is added and mixed, and then solidified to produce a gel fly attractant. As the fly attractant, it is preferable to use a liquid fly attractant mainly containing sugar syrup containing a plant extract. For example, a gel-like fly attractant 2 and adhesive paper 5 contained in a container as shown in the figure below. By using the fly catching tool 1 in which flies are combined, fly can be captured for a long time. |
