(57) [Problem] To provide a water repellent composition capable of imparting excellent water repellency and its durability to fibers and the like. A water repellent composition comprising a polymer (A) and a polymer (B), wherein both components are not present in the same particle. Polymer (A): contains 60% by mass or more of polymerized units of a polyfluoroalkyl group-containing (meth) acrylate (a), 40% by mass or less of polymerized units of a long-chain alkyl group-containing (meth) acrylate (b), and An addition polymer in which the total of the polymerization units of (a) and (b) is 70% by mass or more. Polymer (B): Less than 60% by mass of polymerized units of (a), 30% by mass or more of polymerized units of monomer (c) having an SP value of <10, and polymerization of (a) and (c) 5 units total 0% by mass or more of an addition polymer. |
