(57) [Problem] To provide an ink jet recording ink set and an ink jet recording method for forming an image excellent in gradation without a change in hue from a low density portion to a high density portion. SOLUTION: In an ink jet recording ink set comprising dark and light color inks having the same hue, the dark and light color inks contain at least two kinds of the same color material, and the compounding ratio of the color material is the dark color and the light color ink. An ink set for ink-jet recording, which is different for light-color inks. |
