titleOfInvention Pigment Yellow 12 Production Method and Use Thereof
abstract (57) Abstract: Provided is Pigment Yellow 12, which can adjust a printing ink excellent in transparency. A disazo compound obtained by performing a coupling reaction between a coupling component containing acetoacetanilide alone or acetoacetanilide as a main component and other components added thereto and a tetrazo component of 3,3′-dichlorobenzidine, and all couplings 0.5 to 10 for components A step (A) of preparing a mixture of a polar group-substituted disazo compound obtained by performing a coupling reaction between a coupling component containing mol% of a polar group-substituted acetoacetanilide and a tetrazo component of 3,3′-dichlorobenzidine; Step (B) of allowing a water-soluble carboxylic acid compound to coexist in a water slurry of a mixture of a disazo compound and the above-mentioned polar group-substituted disazo compound; (C) a heat treatment at 140 ° C.
