titleOfInvention Method for producing aqueous polyamidoamine-epichlorohydrin resin
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamideamine resin (P) without decomposed products of epichlorohydrin (EP) being accumulated in a reaction system. A: Providing a method for producing a high-molecular-weight PAE concentrate by recycling a polyamidoamine-epichlorohydrin resin (PAE) containing a resin having a low molecular weight region and an intermediate. SOLUTION: An aqueous mixed solution containing a PAE having an Mw of 3,000 or more, a PA and an EP decomposed product having an Mw of 30,000 or less is treated in the following steps. (1) With an ultrafiltration membrane having a specific molecular weight cut-off, A permeate a mainly containing the EP decomposed product and a concentrated solution mainly containing the high molecular weight PAE are obtained; Concentrate c containing removed PAE or PA is obtained; (3) Concentrate c is reacted with PA and EP of a specific Mw to obtain the above aqueous mixture.
