abstract |
(57) [Problem] To provide a sodium cromoglycate ophthalmic solution having a rapid and powerful antipruritic effect and improved eye pain and unpleasant irritation. SOLUTION: By blending menthol with sodium cromoglycate and an antihistamine, irritating unpleasant eye pain induced by sodium cromoglycate at the time of instillation is reduced, and the rapid antipruritic effect of the antihistamine is further enhanced. The present invention provides a novel ophthalmic solution that strongly suppresses itching of eyes immediately after instillation. |
