abstract | (57) [Problem] To provide a photothermographic material having less image density fluctuation with respect to light, and to provide a suitable image recording method using the photothermographic material. SOLUTION: In the photothermographic material in which an image forming layer and a protective layer containing at least an organic silver salt, a photosensitive silver halide and a reducing agent are laminated on a support in this order, the photothermographic material is selected from an image forming layer and a protective layer.
