(57) [Abstract] (Modified) [Problem] A porous material having a high strength, a high porosity, a homogeneous fine porous structure, and an excellent affinity for an electrolytic solution, suitable as a separator for a battery or a capacitor. Provided are a film and a method for producing the film. Further, a battery and a capacitor using the separator are provided. (A) High molecular weight polyolefin resin 99% by weight of (B) (a) polyacrylate, polymethacrylate, polyalkylene oxide, polyphosphazene, polyvinyl ether, polyvinylidene fluoride, polyacrylonitrile, polyvinyl chloride, polyester, polyalkylene oxide di (meth) acrylate and poly A resin composition comprising: a chain polymer selected from siloxane; and (b) a second polymer selected from a polymer having the polymer (a) in the main chain and a side chain and 1 to 40% by weight.
