titleOfInvention | INK JET RECORDING MEDIUM AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD |
abstract | (57) Abstract: The object of the present invention is to provide high gloss, high ink absorption, excellent image color properties, good adhesion of an ink receiving layer, and low ripple after recording. An object of the present invention is to provide an inkjet recording medium and a method for manufacturing the same. The present invention provides an alkaline earth metal salt on a base paper having a density of 0.90 g / cm 3 or more, and a weight ratio of 0.05 to 0.1 times the alkaline earth metal salt. This is an inkjet recording medium in which an undercoat layer containing 8 times or less of an adhesive is provided, and an ink receiving layer containing inorganic ultrafine particles is applied thereon. Preferably, the alkaline earth metal is calcium carbonate or magnesium carbonate. Further, it is a more preferred embodiment that the inorganic ultrafine particles are amorphous synthetic silica or alumina hydrate by a gas phase method. Further, it is a method for producing an ink jet recording medium in which after applying an undercoat layer, a heat calendering treatment is performed, and then the ink receiving layer is provided. |
