titleOfInvention Method for controlling transmission power and its cellular mobile telephone
abstract Abstract: [PROBLEMS] To control the transmission power of a remote terminal, especially a cellular mobile phone, to optimize the transmission power efficiency without affecting the quality of service transmitted. A cellular mobile telephone includes at least two power amplifiers having a common operating area. If one of the amplifiers has to be disconnected, the best time to switch is defined based on predetermined transmit interrupt criteria. Power adjustment is continued using the currently selected amplifier until the switching time comes. When the switching time arrives, the transmission is interrupted and then switched to another amplifier.
