abstract |
(57) Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a silver-supported amorphous silica antibacterial agent and a resin composition thereof, which are less discolored at the time of compounding the resin and less prone to discoloration over time. At least a part of the amorphous silica carries antibacterial metal ions as zinc and silver components, and is composed of amorphous particles having a primary particle diameter in a range of 0.1 to 100 nm. A silver-supported amorphous silica antibacterial agent excellent in transparency and discoloration resistance, having a specific surface area of 70 to 100 m 2 / g as measured by the BET method. |
