abstract (57) [Abstract] [Problem] To reduce the content of impurities in circulating water, Provided is a polymer electrolyte water electrolysis apparatus which consumes less water and has a compact apparatus. SOLUTION: A water circulation line 23 is provided with a branch line 41 for taking out a part of the circulating water supplied to the water electrolysis tank 20 and supplying it to the oxygen gas-liquid separator 22 after the treatment by the ion exchanger 43. Heat exchanger for circulating water cooling upstream of the ion exchanger 43 42 will be provided.
