SOLUTION: General formula 1 (R represents hydrogen, a lower alkyl group, an alkylthioalkyl group, a phenyl group or a substituted phenyl group, and R 1 represents a lower alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, a benzyl group, a substituted benzyl group, a phenethyl group, a phenoxymethyl group, a 2-thienyl group. And a cyclohexane derivative of a methyl group, an alkoxymethyl group, or an alkylthiomethyl group) or a salt thereof, which enhances the efficacy of a strobilurin fungicide. And a method for enhancing potency by adding a potency enhancer to a strobilurin fungicide in a weight ratio of potency enhancer: strobilurin fungicide of 1: 0.001-1: 2.
