abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a thermoplastic resin composition which does not impair the color, and which is completely burned at the time of combustion and incineration to suppress generation of harmful substances, and a molded article thereof. SOLUTION: A platinum group element is contained in an inorganic carrier in an amount of 0.001 to 0.001. A thermoplastic resin composition characterized in that 0.2 wt% of a supported particulate combustion promoter is blended with a thermoplastic resin such that the concentration of the platinum group element is 0.5 to 100 ppm.
