abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a new use of a plantin-type banana and to provide an immunity-enhancing composition capable of safely and effectively enhancing immunity by ingesting orally. SOLUTION: An immunopotentiating composition is obtained by containing a plantin type banana powder as an active ingredient. This immunity enhancing composition preferably contains 2 to 50% by mass of the plantin type banana powder. Further, it is preferable to further contain at least one selected from the group consisting of chitin, chitosan, and their decomposed products as an active ingredient.
