titleOfInvention | Image forming method, image forming apparatus, and process cartridge |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Problems] Potential retention is stable, no fog, Provided are an image forming method, an image forming apparatus, and a process cartridge, which have no image defects, have a long photoreceptor life, and have no toner filming or cleaning failure. An image forming method using a photoreceptor having a photoconductive layer including a charge generating substance, a charge transporting substance, and a binder on a conductive substrate, wherein the outermost layer of the photoconductive layer has a specific structure of a charge transporting substance. The toner contains a binder, the coefficient of variation of the shape factor of the toner is 16% or less, the coefficient of number variation in the number particle size distribution is 27% or less, and the solubility parameter value SPt of the resin constituting the toner and the outermost layer of the photoreceptor. Wherein the absolute value of the difference from the solubility parameter value SPp of the resin constituting the above, ΔSP, is 1.0 (cal · cm 3 ) 1/2 or less. |
