titleOfInvention A method for producing an extracellular product by a reaction between a rotating disk-type bioreactor and an aerobic microorganism.
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bioreactor suitable for producing an extracellular product by a reaction of an aerobic microorganism, a method for producing an extracellular product using the reactor, specifically a peroxidase Offer. SOLUTION: This bioreactor rotates a plurality of rotating disks fixed at equal intervals on a rotating shaft in a horizontal cylindrical reactor body, and aerobics fixed to a nutrient-containing culture solution and the rotating disk surface. A device for contacting microbial cells with air inlet and outlet nozzles located above the horizontal center plane of the reactor body, allowing air to flow only through the gas phase of the reactor body and favorably on the rotating disk surface. The aerobic microorganisms are grown and extracellular products are secreted into the culture. The method for producing an extracellular product comprises contacting a rotating disk with aerobic microorganism cells alternately with a culture solution and air, growing and fixing aerobic microorganisms on the rotating disk surface, and removing extracellular cells. The product is secreted into the culture.
