(57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To provide 1-substituted hydantoins at low cost and safely. Further, the present invention provides a production method which can be obtained with good yield. SOLUTION: In an organic solvent, 3- (substituted aminomethyl) -hydantoins are reacted with an alkyl halide in the presence of an alkali metal hydroxide, and then hydrolyzed. |
