Pollutant decomposition method and device |
abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and efficient method and apparatus for decomposing pollutants with low running cost. SOLUTION: Decomposition of pollutants including a step of irradiating a gas to be treated containing chlorine obtained from functional water and contaminants in air with light from light irradiation means to decompose the pollutants. In the method, a decomposition path having an inlet area and an exhaust area for the gas to be processed is formed, the gas to be processed flows through the decomposition path, and a flow direction of the gas to be processed flows through the decomposition path. An installation area a and a non-installation area b of the light irradiation means are provided in this order from upstream to downstream, and the contaminant is decomposed in the installation area a and the non-installation area b. Method. And equipment for this. |
