abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating solution for an electrophotographic photosensitive member having excellent dispersion stability in a high-concentration and high-viscosity dispersion coating solution, an electrophotographic photosensitive member using the same, a method for producing the same, and a method thereof. Provided is an image forming apparatus equipped with an electrophotographic photosensitive member. SOLUTION: An alternating voltage having a different frequency is applied to a dispersion system in which a dispersion material such as a pigment is dispersed, and an electric characteristic such as a dielectric constant or a dielectric loss tangent ε ″ / ε ′ is measured. Relaxation frequency showing the maximum value or dielectric loss tangent ε " A conductive support is immersed and coated in a coating liquid for an undercoat layer, which is a dispersion containing a water-soluble and aprotic organic solvent, with a relaxation frequency showing a maximum value of / ε 'of 7 kHz or more. A layer is formed, and an electrophotographic photoreceptor is manufactured. The electrophotographic photoreceptor is used in an image forming apparatus employing a reversal developing method. |
