(57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] While maintaining good storage characteristics and low fog, An aqueous-based photothermographic element is provided that exhibits good image discrimination. SOLUTION: a) A photosensitive silver halide emulsion precipitated in a water-dispersible cationic starch peptizer, and b) An aqueous photothermographic composition comprising (i) a colloidal dispersion of silver compound particles and (ii) a redox image-forming composition containing an organic reducing agent. |
