abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a silane coupling agent capable of suppressing generation of static electricity of glass fibers and obtaining a glass fiber reinforced resin excellent in water resistance and physical properties. It is another object of the present invention to provide a sizing agent containing the same, a glass fiber bundle coated with the sizing agent, and a glass fiber reinforced polyester resin containing the glass fiber bundle. SOLUTION: Glycidyl (meth) acrylate 2 is added to 1 mol of a silane compound represented by the following general formula (1). A silane coupling agent obtained by reacting moles.
