titleOfInvention Quinophthalone dye for thermal transfer, thermal transfer sheet using the same, and thermal transfer ink
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quinophthalone dye suitable for a heat-sensitive transfer sheet, which has high solubility in an organic solvent and can achieve a high recording density. SOLUTION: The following general formula (I): (Wherein, R 1 represents a hydrogen atom or an optionally substituted alkyl group, R 2 represents a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom, and R 3 represents an optionally substituted alkyl group or an optionally substituted alkyl group. Quinophthalone dyes for thermal transfer represented by a good unsaturated alkyl group, and R 4 represents an aryl group which may be substituted.
