abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing apparatus of a liquid crystalline resin pellet having improved ejection stability and a manufacturing method using the same. SOLUTION: When discharging a liquid crystal resin strand group 3 from a reaction vessel 1 onto a trough 7, a sensor 11 detects a flow defect of the strand group 3 generated on the trough 7 until reaching a cutter part. In response to the signal, an excess amount of cooling water of 1.1 to 10 times the amount of cooling water at the time of steady pelletization flows on the trough 7. |
