In addition, in the conventional method, it is difficult to simultaneously perform the treatment of dioxins and the treatment of heavy metals. SOLUTION: The method of the present invention comprises immersing a solid waste containing an organochlorine compound and a harmful metal in an aqueous solution containing hypophosphorous acid and / or phosphorous acid and an amine. A method for detoxifying solid waste, comprising decomposing organic chlorinated compounds and fixing harmful metals.
