abstract (57) [Summary] The present invention relates to an exhaust gas containing dioxins. It is intended to provide a method for stably and efficiently decomposing and removing dioxins. The present invention relates to a method for treating exhaust gas in which an exhaust gas containing dioxins is brought into contact with a catalyst to decompose and remove the dioxins, wherein the exhaust gas and the catalyst are brought into contact with each other while applying vibration by sound waves. This is a method for treating exhaust gas.
