PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a promoter useful for controlling gene expression in a plant root-specific and / or inducible manner by a change in phosphate concentration, an expression vector containing the promoter, and the expression vector. Beta glucuronidase (GUS) downstream of this DNA fragment A chimeric gene linked to the gene is constructed, introduced into an Arabidopsis thaliana plant, and the promoter function is evaluated by analyzing the expression of the GUS gene. |
