abstract | (57) [Summary] [Problem] A direct drawing capable of adjusting an ink supply amount during printing by accurately measuring a dot area ratio, and confirming reproducibility with respect to original data of a printing plate. Provides a method of managing a planographic printing plate. After measuring the reflection absorbance of a direct-drawing lithographic printing plate on which a pattern having a known dot area ratio is formed, the relationship between the dot area ratio and the value of the reflection absorbance monotonically increases; Alternatively, it is confirmed that the relationship is monotonically decreasing, and the relationship between the dot area ratio (Y) and the reflection absorbance (X) is obtained from the measured values, and a direct drawing type lithographic printing in which a pattern having an unknown dot area ratio is formed. The reflection absorbance of the image area of the plate is measured, the dot area ratio is estimated from the obtained relationship, and based on the estimated value, the ink supply amount suitable for printing on a direct-drawing lithographic printing plate is adjusted.
