titleOfInvention A method for estimating the function of eukaryotic genes using yeast
abstract (57) [Summary] An object of the present invention is to provide a new method for efficiently estimating the function of a eukaryotic gene. After introducing a plasmid that expresses a eukaryotic gene into a wild-type yeast, a mutation is randomly introduced into the yeast genome, a mutant strain requiring the eukaryotic gene is identified, and the mutant strain is generated within the mutant strain. By identifying genetic mutations, The function of the eukaryotic gene is estimated.
