titleOfInvention Electrophoresis device
abstract [PROBLEMS] To automate an electrophoresis apparatus using a microchip. A microchip is placed at a position B. The port 1 is filled with the electrophoresis medium into the chip 1 under pressure. After suctioning and removing the electrophoresis medium in the reservoir through the nozzle 17 at the position A, the buffer solution is injected from the nozzle 19 into the reservoirs 7c, 7s, and 7w. At the position B, the sample is injected into the reservoir 7s by the syringe 23. At a position C, a predetermined voltage is applied to the reservoir via the electrode 41 to inject the sample into the separation channel. After sucking and removing the sample in the reservoir 7s through the nozzle 17 at the position A, the buffer solution is injected from the nozzle 19 into the reservoir 7s. At a position C, a predetermined voltage is applied to the reservoir via the electrode 41 to perform electrophoretic separation of the sample, and the separated sample is detected by the detection optical system 45.
